Performance evaluation by competences: the reality of CODT - Centro Oftalmológico de Diagnose e Terapêutica

The Performance Evaluation by Competences is very useful for enterprises that apply or intend to apply People Management by Competences, as Centro Oftalmológico de Diagnose e Terapêutica, that focus on the development of their employees. This study has as objective to systematize the progression of people in the charges and supply the base for the planning of this development. About the methodology, the study was: qualitative, descriptive, applied, documentary, bibliographical and study of case. It is noticed that the actual management sees people as important elements for the maintenance of the quality, what is related to the Organizational Strategy. It is concluded that the Competence Measuring, built through the Behavior Inventary can be used for all the employees, considering the Function Competence Level. Therefore, it can be observed that with the detailing of the evaluation and application methodology, it has the base to introduce integrally this tool at CODT.Downloads
