Las redes sociales i el cybervetting en los procesos de R&S: un estudio sobre el comportamiento y la percepción de los candidatos

Objetivo: analizar el uso de plataformas de medios sociales por parte de candidatos en procesos de Reclutamiento y Selección (R&S), y su percepción sobre la evaluación de estas plataformas por las organizaciones.
Metodología: investigación de método mixto con 483 candidatos inscritos en una universidad pública del sur de Brasil.
Originalidad: las plataformas de medios sociales se han vuelto clave en los procesos organizacionales, incluyendo el R&S, donde tanto candidatos como empresas adoptan estas tecnologías para la selección de personal.
Resultados: los candidatos utilizan cada vez más los medios sociales para buscar empleo, con variaciones según el área de formación. Algunos están de acuerdo con que las organizaciones revisen sus perfiles, mientras otros no. Además, algunos candidatos crean contenido específico en sus redes para impresionar a los reclutadores.
Contribuciones teóricas: el artículo aporta al estudio de R&S, destacando la performatividad de los candidatos en redes sociales.
Contribución a la gestión: se enfatiza la importancia de las plataformas de medios sociales como herramientas clave en R&S y la necesidad de las empresas de analizar las diferencias entre plataformas para optimizar sus estrategias de búsqueda de candidatos.
