Abstract

The aim of this work is focused on measuring educational capacity of the physical collection of a university library over the documents requested by teachers in a chair in the basic literature curricula. The methodology focuses on the materials qualitatively documentary set against the bibliographies using citation analysis, the findings reveal the existence of a global setting midway between the library and user requirements, it is recommended to enable the missing titles available through of its acquisition, as well as tend towards taking into account both electronic information and virtual spaces as networks of related libraries.
