Photographic huellas: clues to the argentine bibliographic production on photodocumentation

Objective: The article aimed to identify, in a non-exhaustive way, the predominant bibliographical theme in the studies produced by Argentine researchers from the perspective of Photodocumentation. Through an initial bibliographical sampling, briefly highlighted some works produced by authors who are members of Argentine research groups dedicated to photography studies, from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Method: Qualitative approach research through documentary and bibliographic research
Result: The article identified an intense bibliographic production that interacts with various areas of knowledge, with a tendency towards photodocumentation in the human and social sciences.
Conclusions: Argentine bibliographic production appropriates a strong interdisciplinary tendency to generate publications that interact with various areas of knowledge and contribute with reflections centered mainly on Human Rights, Communication and Anthropology.
