Guarulhos, an industrial city: aspects of the history and heritage of industrialization in a municipality in Greater São Paulo

This article brings an initial discussion on the historical process of industrialization of the city of Guarulhos in São Paulo, trying to identify their historical agents and connecting this process with the broader history of the State capital, the country and the world. It tries to reflect also on the Guarulhos important industrial heritage and the difficulty of preserving it amidst the transformations of the city.
