Abstract

The aim of this study is to question and conduct a critical
analysis of the relations of knowledge, knowledge itself and
the capacities involved in the distance education process aided
by new technologies. It focuses on the ojbectivation of the
knowledge of distance education and the materialization and
productivity of this type of work. The analysis considers: the training of the academic-professional workers in the units studied; the investments needed for training; the relationship between degrees and ability; the power relations/relations of knowledge; the relationship between educational k n o w l e d g e / e d u c a t i o n a l techniques; abilities and multiabilities;
fragmentation and expropriation of the knowledge of the educational workers and virtual surplus value and profit in
virtual distance education.
