Vendedores internacionais: desafios e oportunidades

A competitividade e mercados nacionais cada vez mais restritros tem impulsionado as organizações a atuarem mundialmente, tornando a função de vendas internacionais um dos fatores fundamentais para o crescimento das empresas. O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar os fatores determinantes que habilitam a função de vendedor internacional. Para tanto se utilizou de uma metodologia de pesquisa descritiva (survey) com abordagem quantitativa, questionando-se os vendedores de empresas exportadoras da região da serra gaúcha. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se duas escalas validadas complementadas com fatores provenientes da revisão bibliográfica. Obteve-se um total de cinqüenta e uma respostas válidas que foram analisadas. Os resultados mostram que os aspectos de adaptação cultural são os principais fatores que habilitam os vendedores promovendo interação entre o comprador e vendedor viabilizando os negócios. Além disso, na medida em que o tempo da relação comprador/vendedor cresce a disposição ao serviço mútuo aumenta.
