Iberoamerican national libraries on web 2.0

The social network rise around web 2.0 and they are part of our everyday. All professionals áreas, specially those related with information and comunication (Journalism, Publicity, Audiovisual Communication, Librarianship and Documentation…) plan strategies to be part of this context with converge emitters, receptors and messages. This text presents the results of a study where was analyzed the presence and participation of iberoamerican national libraries, ABINIA members, on web 2.0. It is known how this libraries are using the social networks, more relevants with users number and the penetration in the iberoamerican countries. The study analyze the profiles on Facebook, Twitter, FlickR and YouTube of libraries, including the contents that they diffuse through these digital spaces and the participation between users.
