About the Journal
The PESQUISAR is a publication initiative of the “Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Ensino de Geografia” (Center for Studies and Research in Teaching Geography) (NEPEGeo). The NEPEGeo develops Teaching, Research and Extension activities, focused on the processes of initial formation, permanent formation and performance of the Geography professionals in Basic and Higher Education.
The PESQUISAR constitutes a vehicle of cultural and scientific communication of the Department of Teaching Methodology, Center of Sciences of the Education; The Department of Geosciences, the Center for Philosophy and Human Sciences and the Postgraduate Program in Geography of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
His proposal is to periodically gather contributions from researches and methodological experiences of School Geography, fostering the collective construction of Geoeducational Studies and is intended to publish articles, notes, research reports and other contributions of teachers and researchers of Geography and related areas.
