Autodeterminación y Calidad de Vida en el Trabajo para motivación de empleados

Objetivo del Estudio: Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la integración entre la Teoría de la Autodeterminación (TAD) y el modelo de Calidad de Vida en el Trabajo (QVT) de Walton, explorando cómo estos enfoques pueden promover la motivación y la satisfacción de los empleados en el entorno laboral.
Metodología/Enfoque: Se utilizó una revisión de literatura para integrar los conceptos de la TAD (competencia, autonomía y relación) con las dimensiones de la QVT (como: condiciones de trabajo, compensación justa y seguridad), analizando cómo todos estos elementos influyen en la motivación intrínseca de los colaboradores.
Originalidad/Relevancia: El estudio se destaca por la combinación de los elementos de la TAD y la QVT de Walton, una integración que parece estar poco difundida en la literatura. Esta combinación es relevante para mejorar las prácticas de gestión de personas y promover un entorno laboral más eficiente y satisfactorio.
Principales Resultados: La investigación reveló que la satisfacción y la motivación de los empleados se incrementan cuando se satisfacen las necesidades de competencia, autonomía y relación, en alineación con las dimensiones de la QVT de Walton. Las condiciones de trabajo son esenciales para fomentar un ambiente productivo.
Contribuciones Teóricas/Metodológicas: Contribuye a la teoría al demostrar la complementariedad entre TAD y QVT, ofreciendo un enfoque integrado para la gestión de personas.
Contribuciones Sociales/Contribución para la Gestión: Ofrece directrices para que los gestores fomenten la motivación en el trabajo, promoviendo un entorno que favorezca el bienestar y la productividad de los empleados.

Los autores otorgan a RCA los derechos exclusivos de primera publicación, estando la obra licenciada simultáneamente bajo la Licencia Creative Commons (CC BY) 4.0 Internacional.

Los autores están autorizados a celebrar contratos adicionales por separado, para la distribución no exclusiva de la versión del trabajo publicado en esta revista (por ejemplo, publicación en un repositorio institucional, en un sitio web personal, publicación de una traducción o como capítulo de un libro), con reconocimiento de autoría y publicación inicial en esta revista.
