This work proposes the analysis of popular mobilizations which took place in Buenos Aires between 1927 and 1929 in solidarity with Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, condemned to death in the United States of America. In this context, popular participation and working protests were articulated by means of a wave of minor attempts, delinquency and terrorism. Our interest is to analyze the role of the anarchist movement in this context. As organizer of general strikes and promoters of solidarity, the anarchism recovered a visibility in the commercial press and a presence in the streets that had declined over the last years as consequence of the unionism competition in the labor area and due to its own internal debates. But, at the same time, the multiplication of violent actions showed the limits to direct its political action.
