As vozes das margens na literatura de recepção infantil e juvenil: reflexões sobre a produção de Georgina Martins

A literatura de recepção infantil e juvenil não tem por tradição levantar em suaconstrução temas polêmicos como desigualdade social, homossexualidade epreconceito racial. Problematizar esses temas, por certo, exige um “lidar” com umalinguagem que leve em conta esses interlocutores. Este artigo apresenta a leitura detrês livros de Georgina Martins: O menino que não se chamava João e a menina que nãose chamava Maria (1999), No olho da rua: historinhas quase tristes (2004) e Uma maréde desejos (2005), trazendo à tona reflexões sobre um fazer literário que apresenta,de forma sensível, ao leitor as “vozes das margens” (Hall, 2006), sem maquiar asagruras e mazelas das desigualdades sociais em que vivem as personagens criançasdessas narrativas. A aproximação com narrativas que fujam do repertório cristalizadopara o público infantil contribuem para a formação de leitores mais comprometidose sensíveis com o Outro.
