Abstract

The current stage of the research on Science Education has been brought to the international literature an evaluation of its results. Some book writers have been critical pointing out the difficulties concernig about the relation between the results of the research and their impact in the educational context. This work has the objective to go beyond this observation, it tries to show the confrontation between the educational practise and the research on Physics Teaching in Brazil. In order to do that , some pedagogical problems were raised from the speeches of a group of 18 teachers characterizing the Physics Teaching from the analysis of papers published in this area, in past years in Brazil, which are registred in the last scientific events minutes and in periodicals from 2000 to 2004. The results prove the critical evaluation presented in the international literature. New ways to overcome this picture in Brazilian context can display a new agenda for the research in Physics Teaching that would include a partnership between researchers and teachers and new subjects of studying.
