Working processes and conditions
Keywords:
Labour conditions, Industrialization process, Daily work experiencesAbstract
The dossier "Processes and Conditions of Labour" focuses on one of the classic themes of Social Labour History: industrialization and labour relations. Despite the thematic diversity present in current research, interest in labour processes and conditions remains relevant. The importance of studying workers' daily experiences is highlighted, as they reveal not only their everyday activities but also the conflicts between capital and labour, challenging the notion that workers were easily shaped at the will of capitalists.
