Rehablado intralingüístico y traducción automática para subtitulado en vivo: un estudio de calidad y percepción

El presente estudio de caso analiza la calidad del subtitulado interlingüístico en vivo generado mediante un flujo de trabajo compuesto por rehablado intralingüístico y traducción automática. El enfoque fue cualitativo y el nivel, descriptivo. El corpus estuvo constituido por los subtítulos en español de una entrevista en inglés. Se aplicó el modelo NTR para medir la tasa de precisión, así como una evaluación de parámetros complementarios como el retraso, la velocidad y la coherencia audiovisual. Además, se recogió la percepción de 31 participantes a través de un cuestionario que evaluó la comprensión literal, inferencial y crítica, así como los otros factores de calidad del modelo NTR. Los resultados revelaron una tasa de precisión del 97,57 % (4/10), que no alcanzó el umbral mínimo de calidad. Los participantes también encontraron dificultades de lectura, retraso significativo y problemas en la comprensión literal. Se concluye que, en este flujo de trabajo, la traducción automática sigue representando el principal obstáculo para garantizar subtítulos de calidad, principalmente por errores de forma.
