Interview with union leader and retired domestic worker Nair Jane de Castro Lima, where she recounts her childhood from Maranhão to Minas Gerais and, finally, Rio de Janeiro, working as a nanny since she was 9 years old, through her participation in the Professional Association of Domestic Workers of RJ during the period of the military dictatorship, the creation of two of the unions of the category in the city, her work with the Catholic Workers' Youth and her personal life, always permeated by her political struggle.
