About the Journal

Alexandria: Journal of Education in Science and Technology is a scholarly publication of the Graduate Program in Science and Technology Education at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Its primary aim is to disseminate high-quality research in the fields of science and mathematics education.

The journal is published exclusively online, provides full open access to all content free of charge, and does not require any article processing or submission fees.

The cover image is a drawing by the painter, poet and short story writer Rodrigo de Haro, who kindly authorized its use. Inspired by the painting Saint Catherine of Alexandria, painted in 1598 by Caravaggio, the drawing was published in the book Mistérios de Santa Catarina [Mysteries of Santa Catarina] (Athanor, Florianopolis, 1992).
